Windows 8 newbie question

Just got my Icon today, and my laptop with Windows 8.1 about 48 hours earlier (after coming straight from Vista).

Should I be closing apps on the Icon like I would on my old iPhone? It's easy on my laptop but I can only find how to pin or uninstall apps on the Icon.

Took some setup, but I'm liking how its pulling from my microsoft account and syncing a lot of settings in apps.

Closing apps is by holding the back button and pressing X on your Icon.

Welcome! I was a Vista user for 8 years myself. I made the switch to W8.1 recently. And also switched to windows phone. You going to love windows 8. Desk top is always available if you want to go back and reminisce.

To close apps on your Icon hold the arrow key and press the x.
