Good news. I've been using the app for a long time and it wasn't working well at all. Frequent crashes and the worst ui. The ui would lock the user thread until a bunch of articles were loaded. Usually, if the app crashed, I could just keep trying and after 3 to 5 attempts, it would load. But not today. So I uninstalled and reinstalled and all the problems appear to be fixed.
