I'm amazed with all these beautiful photos!
Lots of different facets of the concept of "nature", love all these different approaches.
In my honest opinion, photos of nature are the best photos there are,
that's why i chose this contest to be the first i participated in ;P
Taken on my Lumia 930 and briefly edited in Adobe Photoshop Express just to bring out certain colours.
At the start of this month I spent two weeks driving around the south island of New Zealand. I got this amazing view of some of the mountains in the Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park because I was running ahead of schedule to meet up with my friend so went on a detour following a bunch of old fashioned cars. All the views in New Zealand were breathtaking but since I had to choose just one I went with this region here because it always struck me as the most New Zealand, further to the left is a glacier, further to the right is the biggest, bluest lake I've ever seen.
This is a bit of a stretch for "nature," but I am entering it because it is a combination of shadows, sunlight, and some good old-fashioned wine. It's an image of sunlight passing through two glasses of wine, casting their shadows on a picnic table at a winery. I believe all I did was turn up the contrast on Adobe Photoshop Express to make the red pop. The picture was taken a month ago today while I was out at the wineries on Eastern Long Island celebrating my girlfriend's birthday. It was a weekday so we were literally the only ones there. It was just a peaceful day with perfect weather, and this photo takes me back in time every time I look at it. Hope you all enjoy!
When we find something beautiful in nature, we forget about the world, the time actually slows down when you feel the nature.. Thanks to Microsoft and their amazing camera phones, amazing photos guaranteed..
No edits in the photo..
It was a very tough task to choose a single photograph from my collection to the contest as most of my photos featuring nature. However at the end I selected this beautiful photo that I took 2 months before. I took this photo using 5MP camera in my Microsoft Lumia 535 Dual sim phone. It has a really good camera at that budget oriented price point but because of its inability to zoom when taking photos makes it difficult to take a photo like this one.
When I was roaming around my garden, I saw this butterfly. I had a little bit of hesitation as I have already tried to take photographs of butterflies but failed to do so. Because I had to get very close to them because of lack of zoom in camera. But I thought of riding my luck again. So I patiently got closer to the butterfly and took some shots. Luckily this butterfly didn't fly away.
I used 6tag to crop and do some basic edits to this photograph.
windows phone : Nokia Lumia 1020 (Lumia camera).

generally i dont wake early, when i woke, got to see sun rising (fire ball drifting clouds away).snapped him:wink: edited using photoscape(increased brigthness, applied middle darken and deepen then used film effect: velvia(high)) to upload decreased quality for size as they are inversely proportional.
