Windows Hello broke after 1809 update

Just got a Surface Laptop 2. Hello was working great. Installed 1809 and now instantly says Something went wrong, please use your pin. When I go to sign-in settings can't change and yellow message that windows hello prevented some options from being shown. Any suggestions?

I've been having similar issues with my Surface Go and my desktop with Mouse brand camera. Sometimes when I restart the computer it will work when logging in for the first time. Its kind of rare. Are you also experiencing this?

I wish I had something more helpful because I'm in the same boat.
