Me too. WMC is gone after anniversary update. Super lame that it would uninstall programs without asking. I haven't got it back up and running yet.

I was able to get everything working again with the Windows 10 WMC 8.8.1 zip file referenced here:

You will need to create a login to see the post. You will want to uninstall whatever you had before.

Here's to the next Windows 10 Anniversary Update not being quite so labor-intensive.

I have Windows 10 version 1511, I had rolled back the anniversary update. On 10/14/16 a security patch KB3192441 was applied and that patch prevented my WMC from seeing my cablecard tuners. I am running the WMC 8.8.1 mentioned in previous posts. I have not tried to reapply the anniversary update and see if WMC 8.8.1 works like TulsaTV mentioned. Has anyone seen similar behavior with the recent patch and has anyone else gotten WMC 8.8.1 to work with the anniversary update? - Thanks

Basically the author wrote that the patch does the same thing as the anniversary update and for WMC to work it has to be rolled back
