Windows Phone 8.1 GDR2 and GDR3 Rumors

Hi, currently microsoft focus on all windows 10 for PCs. Yet, I wonder what will happen to the development of Windows Phone 8.1 GDR2 and GDR3 updates? Will they release it or will they skip it to Windows 10 for phones? Any rumors or educated guesses will be appreciated.

I doubt they'll be any GDR updates after update 1. Maybe 2 but that would be cutting it close unless they don't plan on giving us W10 until 2016 (that would suck)

I'd say no as far as any more updates for Windows Phone 8.1. They'll probably just finalize and release what we have in WP 8.1 DP and give that to everyone. They're supposedly talking about everything in their January even t about Windows 10. Leaks of 10 build 9901 show Lumia Camera in Windows 10. My guess would be after the January event, we'll be ssing Windows 10 in the DP channel.Just like they're not releasing any high-end Windows Phones until the release time of Windows 10. I personally think as far as the phones themselves Microsoft is moving backwareds instead of forward. All the recent phones have a better cpu, but that's about it. The majority now only have 4GBs. of onboard storage.My current 521 & the 520 came with 8GBs onboard storage. Now they have a rumored Lumia 43*. Hate to see how low-end it is.The 830 isn't a true flagship, the 1520 kicks it's ***.

Well now, there are some proofs about it.

According to the wmpoweruser, wp8.1 gdr2 will bring bluetooth hid supoort. I know, here wmpoweruser is not so popular, but last time they did leak 14219 build number for wp8.1.1, and now we are having it.

From the Bluetooth perspective, Windows Phone 8.1 Update 2 adds MAP, HID 1.1 , HOGP and Absolute Volume Control support.
