Hey everyone!

Today, Paul went over the changes in Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1 (http://winsupersite.com/windows-phone/microsoft-leaks-windows-phone-81-update-1-details) and I saw one that I've not seen anywhere before: OS Compression. This is much like the feature that is also introducedi n Windows 8.1 Update 1, which allowed Windows to be installed with just 3/4GB of storage space in use (32bit/64bit respectivly). With this coming to Windows Phone, the size the system files take from your phone might go down drasticaly, through of course, it's unknown if this will only work on new models or also for the older ones. This should also allow 4GB devices to have much more space. On another note, he also claims that, because of this, the Nokia Lumia 530 will run Update 1 out of the box.

What do you guys think?

Makes sense, if they intend on releasing other models with 4GB onboard storage.
