are talking out selecting emails? I don't have an issue with the current method.
Check them off to do what? Delete them maybe?
I just long-hold any I don't want. Or wait until Outlook Rules kick in on another device and deal with them. Or unsubscribe from anyone/thing that's sending me too many mails.
For me, mark as read. I have virtually no filters on, so I manage my email myself. ajst222, are you a Q10 double typing casualty too?
I'm just saying if I get 50 emails each one has to be check to delete. To me that antiquated. Wouldn't it be easier to have a delete all option?. So I was asking is there a way if doing that?
Am I the only one who finds WP email as tedious? Rather than click on tab that says all. We have to run down the list checking off each mail singular. Its crazy

I agree I do not entirely understand the argument you're trying to put forward. On my email I can select multiple emails by activating the checkboxes on the left side of the screen in outlook in windows phone 8.1. After checking a bunch of emails I can press delete in the app bar. Hey, presto, gone.
I can confirm there is not a select all button, but I would aruge to add that to the uservoice as a missing feature. Though honestly I don't know many people who would want to delete all their email at once, but that's just me.
What worries me with the aquisitoin of sunrise is that deleting emails does look like a more laborious task at first hand. You can swipe delete one email at a time. But if you want to delete a large group will that also be possible. Becuase deleting 100 emails (as an expample) one at a time sounds less effective that preselecting 100 emails and pressing delete one time.
I keep all emails in my inbox and don't delete any. Having the check boxes would be fine if I had the option to mark (all checked) as read.
