WIndows Phone HTC 8s won't start.

Hello.

My Windows Phone HTC 8s won't start. I have tried the soft reset, and the HARD reset and it won't bugged. It does charges when plugged (first red light then green when fully charged). Also the Back, Windows Phone and Bing Search "pseudo buttons" lights are on. I'm hopping that it will run out of battery and I'll be able to turn it on again, but I really need my phone for work.

It has a black screen like it's OFF but the lights are on. No button works. I posted the question under guest..

Try starting without the SD card, if it has one installed.

Some crucial piece of hardware could have gone south, do the button's respond?

No the buttons don't respond, nothing does. I can't start it, i has a black screen with the pseudo buttons (back windows and bing search) lights ON, always ON. I'll try removing the SD card, maybe it will change something. I still have the warrenty from the phone company that I brought it but i was hoping you'll give me some divine advice to fix it myself.

I have just removed the SD card and the SIM, nothing changed, blackscreen like it's turned OFF, and pseudobuttons lights ON.

maybe I didn't do the HARD RESET correctly? cand someone tell me the sequence?

At best, the display probably died, worst, more stuff broke, it probably needs service?

HTC's site has instructions I believe.
