Windows Phone Notifications Bar

Hello.
I saw that on Windows Phone 8 we don`t have a notifications bar.
Why we can`t have one? Like that one that I've attached here.

It's a cool stuff, it`s very useful for fast closing or opening phone`s services. It could be great for us, WP users, to have that.

It will definitely be useful. There are rumors going around that windows phone might get a notification center with the 8.1 update

WP8.1 is getting the same implementation. Short swipe down from the top gets quick view of functions. While a long swipe down from the top gives you all notifications.
