Windows Phones AWOL @ ATT store

Stopped by the local ATT store yesterday to ask a billing question. Got my answer but noticed there were no Windows Phones visible. When I was in the same store a few months ago, there was a section of the store with WPs on display with marketing banners, etc.

I didn't bother asking "where are the Windows Phones?" They simply weren't there.

Not sure about other stores, but this was not a good sign IMO.

Anyone here know why this is the case? I mean really knows why.

I would guess some store managers don't think they will sell, so they don't stock them. M most I see is on the far wall away from where the cursors migrate

That's quite surprising. The AT&T store at my local mall always has every Windows Phone device on display. They even still had the 900 last I saw. There's a display right at the center of the store showing off the 1520, 925 and 2520, too.

My near by store has a large windows phone display up front right as you enter the store.
