I probably would not. I had envisioned myself using the clipboard in meeting and such: taking notes in OneNote, having the Ink to Text feature convert it, and save paper and time. However, the Ink to Text feature is awful (or my handwriting...) and the clipboard is a bit awkward to hold for me.
If I had it to do over again, I'd probably get an x360 or xps13, and use either my iPad, or maybe a Surface 3, for meetings/note taking.
As for the actual device and reliability, I experienced many of the bugs that others have reported, but I expected that with a 1st gen Microsoft product. As of now, with all the updates, it's nearly perfect.
