Wow. Surface RT demand is high

With Windows 8 tablets I'm hearing more and more people saying things like, "i never had the need for a tablet before but I think I'll get a Windows 8 tablet". With that in mind I think people want MS hardware more than others.

Im one of those people, though Im awaiting reviews and will probably get an atom version as I want x86 compatibility along with windows functionality

The Nexus 7 is a great device, bought my missus one and she hasn't touched her laptop since. That is why Im excited about the Win tablets, you don't have to make the compromises that you do with android or IOS..

Unless you consider the fact that the Nexus 7 is sold at a loss straight out the door in order to generate volume in Google's war with Amazon over media consumption devices.

MS could easily sell the Surface RT at a loss for the same reason. They get a cut of every app sold from their store, plus have their Xbox Music, Video, and Game services built in that can rake them in even more cash.
