WP 10 - Is there any way to turn on the screen of the phone after it turn off to save power?

Any time my 1520 screen turn off, it cannot turn back on. I can see the glance being shown, where it show the time and day, but double tapping or pressing power button still will not turn the screen on. I did a hard reset, and it improve the phone it was a little smoother but I still have the problem of the screen not turning on. The only way that I was able to turn it on is by holding the power button down for a while and the phone would restart.

I am having the same issue on my 535, tried disabling tap to unlock, but to no avail.

Anyone figured out how to fix?

I'm also facing same issue with my Lumia 920. After upgrading to preview, my phone seems to be dead. I'm unable to reset and restart.

Hard reset seemed to fix it for me

I did a hard reset and it work for a while, but now it still do the same thing after a while.

Hard reset and set up as a new device. Disable Glance.

Yep this was the problem for me. Had it enabled from using it on WP8.1. Once I uninstalled it the problem went away!

I had the same problem with my 630, and thankfully reading over this posting, I was able to get it going in no time!!!
