WP 8.1 Bluetooth audio skipping alot

Does anyone else have any issues while listening to podcasts on bluetooth headphones? I have a lot of pausing or skipping during all of my podcasts. It seemed to get worse with the last 8.1 update. Thanks for listening. :unhappy:

I have an issue where when I'm connected to my Bluetooth radio, when I forward to the next track, it's as if the phone doesn't know where the beginning of the next track is. It will skip a few seconds and then start playing smoothly again. I used to have a major skipping issue with WP8.0 GDR3 but WP8.1 has been a lot better. I'm hoping the cyan firmware update will correct a lot of these issues.

I found two workarounds for the skipping. Either use something else for music listening, or, restart phone before resuming music playback after having paused it.
Neither is satisfactory really, they need to fix it.

This started happening on my NL920 after the most recent update; quite an annoying problem! It seems to clear up if you turn off Bluetooth from the notifications menu, turn it back on, then start playing again. We'll see if the skipping returns.

Remove the bluetooth pairing from the phone and then re-add it. That should fix it.
