WP 8.1 - notification sounds without notification center?

Hi, first time poster here!

Just today I've got my 535 Dual and I must say it's quite a nice phone. What I partially dislike is the notification center. What I want is this:
- every app EXCEPT for my communication apps notifications to be shown there
- my communication apps (sms, viber, FB chat, calls) notifications not to be shown there
- my communication apps make sound when something happens (say, somebody sends me a message)

Trouble is I can either let the notifications be shown in the pull-down panel AND make sounds ... or not to be shown and don't make sound. Is there any solution to this, please?

BTW I've been with Android for quite some years but I'm a complete noob here in WP ...

Lol i read it like three times and yet I'm confused. It can be done.. Can you give a few examples of what you're looking for?

I want notifications for SMS, calls, FB messenger and Viber to appear only on the live tiles, not in the pull-down action center. But when I disable those apps in action center I receive NO sound notifications.

I would like to have sound notifications and live tile notifications for those apps but NO action center notifications.

To this day I wasnt able to set it this way - so I believe colinkiama is right - it is not possible ... Dang!
