WP8.1 with wallpaper on start screen and ClearTiles app, looks beautiful.

Clicking on the clear tiles open up start screen again !

It opens the app. Easy to create new tiles or remove all related tiles at once.

Yep, transparent tiles is great, makes the tiles transparent but keeps them as a functioning tile to open apps, just lose live tile functionality but most of the tiles I use it for are small anyway

Yup, it was better till this app got updated. This app also supports tiles for apps now in addition to completely blank filler tiles. App tiles created by this app seem better due to smaller and more crisp icons on transparent backgrounds. Especially the HERE nokia apps and default windows apps for music, video and games.
