I'm glad I got an 822 and not a 920 or 8X. Don't know whether there are more problems or it seems like more because those phones are selling more. Other than one freeze the day I got it this phone has been flawless.

I'm sure Android has even worse with this, they just want to pick on Microsoft. I'll hopefully be picking up my 8X next Friday if I can make enough money so hopefully these issues will stay rare.

I don't think anybody is picking on Microsoft. These are some real issues people are having. There are people I follow on twitter having various problems with the 920 and the 8X. Not everyone is having problems, but plenty are. My 822 locked up an hour after leaving the Verizon store. It hasn't done that since, but it does lose all signal periodically. I'm probably going to bring it back to get it exchanged next week. I really love the improvements in WP8 and I am enjoying my Lumia, but I think it was rushed out the door a bit.

I probably had a lock-up with the 920 and can't remember. I know WhatsApp kept force closing until I uninstalled it, to then install again.

Mine locked up the second time today. Aggravating, but twice in six days isn't as bad as some people's phones.
