WPCENTRAL app consuming battery after last update (with screenshot)

I did a soft reset of my 1020 because it was getting warmed up too much. After the reset, I had a problem viewing articles on WPCENTRAL app then a checked battery saver and the app is the number one in battery consumption.

I have few selected apps that run in the background one of them is WPCENTRAL. What's the deal?

Can you tap into that icon and see if the battery use is coming from background or foreground app use please?
