wpcentral app crashing on start after 521 update

Two things I noticed.
1. This isn't the same problem I encountered a week ago. The problem actually went away after a couple of articles.
2. I've lost access to the beta app. (I don't have permissions to download it)

Guys please update with your findings as soon as possible. You'll also see a v4.1.3.8 show up soon as I've slightly tweaked the image quality decision (should be the same logic just applied in a more robust manner).

Yes, 4128 defaults to low quality and only allows low or medium to be selected.

And yet one of my beta users apparently still gets crashes... Will see if 4.1.3.8 fixes it for him

Everything working here with 4.1.2.8 beta - images defaulted to low was able to change to medium (high greyed out and no wifi selection, so low end check is working), no crashes, even when scrolling..

Ok for those tracking this issue. Testing has gone very well and I've submitted the update to Microsoft along with a request to rush the certification, I hope they can help me out here

The latest version, 4.1.3.8 was released today which should address these issues. Please get in touch if there are any problems guys

This is really weird. I've never had any issues when I selected "High quality images on Wi-Fi". With the last two minor releases, I started experiencing crashes. It seems to be a lot worse with 4.3.1.8, as it now crashes on startup.

I've got a Lumia 520 and my region settings are French (Canada).

Turn off cellular or wifi, open wpcentral app, go to settings and change image quality to low or medium and turn wifi off..That should allow you to change the settings and it should not crash.

Jay 4.1.3.8 I am having the same issue crashing once again,

the beta 4.1.4 version I do have the problem because it has auto image select.

Guys 4.1.3.8 has auto image selection as well, if you're still getting crashes we need to figure out why. I'll get back to you though as I'm busy this weekend
