I've just tweaked the feed a little bit out of curiosity. I'm almost certain that I've not fixed it but if you have the time to uninstall your app (needed to clear out the cache) and then reinstall and test it now I'd appreciate it

i'm using USA region and English language here (tho i live in Brazil haha USA is better for store purposes)

same thing happened to me the multiple times i uninstalled/installed: it loads the news but if i scroll, the app crashes and then it keeps crashing if i try to open it

i can also send some screenshots of my settings if it helps!

Okay, that aside, the first story preview loaded. I jumped right into the forums because I was afraid it would crash.

I made what could arguably be one of the dumbest decisions ever.

I backed out of the forums into the news feed. This crazy thing happened. See, the app...it crashed.
I'm sitting here mourning my loss.

So, a quick heads-up on the topic.
On the non-beta app, I'd fortunately activated the vibrate when finished loading thing.

So, here's the observation. It vibrates as it crashes. That's if I didn't interact with it. If I did,chances are it won't,

So it is crashing whilst processing the feed... Why would it work for some of you and not for others, you're all using different languages.. I'm rushing home in my lunch break to build a temp beta that will send me diagnostics before it does anything else so hopefully that will show the problem

I can open article from IE with APP and read them, but, can do much of anything else.

New Firmware: 1030.6409.1316.0016
OS: 8.0.10211.204

Was working just fine before firmware update yesterday and wifi calling was added to 521. But I doubt it could be related to all the other phones having the same problem.

so i'm using the beta app now and it shows the same behaviour: upon a fresh install, news feed loads then as soon as i scroll it crashes and then keeps crashing whenever i try to re-open!

will check it again in an hour then when the update kicks in! then i'll try openning the app before/after a fresh install to send you logs! lets hope this will help figuring the problem >.<

i was having the same issues today morning. I went to the store and checked that there was an update. But the prob still persists.
even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the trial version, but the app keeps crashing.
India region. Will be happy to beta test the app.

v4.1.1.8 for should now be at that beta link if you check again. Please launch the app and if you are taken to a compose e-mail screen please sent the e-mail which is generated so that I can gather some details on this. If the app just crashes for you after a few attempts let me know here.

For those now asking for beta access, I believe I have enough people to diagnose the issue. However as and when we find the problem I will create a second beta which will be used to distribute the fix to all those affected temporarily whilst we wait for the store certification to come through on the main version of the app

Agreed! Just been hammering the scrolling of articles and it crashes!

So.... It's ALMOST WORKING!!! It's ALMOST WORKING!!!

I've tried numerous settings On and OFF this afternoon, but none seem to affect the outcome.
