Does anybody know if Xbox 360 games would work on Xbox one?

Nope but I definitely feel that Microsoft will be introducing a streaming service a la Playstation now that may bring some form of backwards compatibility to the windows ecosystem at least in terms of games that were digitally purchased.

You are right. It is dependent upon devs allowing BC. It will be interesting to see who allows it.

I heard that Skyrim is the top most requested game on XBOX's feedback site for backwards compatibility. Let's hope Bethesda allows Microsoft to do it.
