I just picked up the 8 GB version of the Surface Go for my son. I am hoping that he might be able to use the Xbox wireless adapter with an Xbox controller to do some light gaming on it while travelling.

Has anyone tried to use an Xbox controller with the Surface Go? T
o confirm, there is no built-in Xbox Wireless in the Surface Go, correct?

I assume I would need to pick up a separate USB-C to USB-A adapter, since the Go has no USB-A port. Any thoughts on a way to possibly prevent an adapter and the Xbox Wireless dongle from having to hang off the side of the Surface Go in an unsightly and awkward fashion?

I use an Xbox controller w bluetooth (I think all of the current wireless controllers have Bluetooth)

Works fine w Bluetooth. Got the gray and green one, matches the surface color.

Awesome! You are right. I just went and grabbed my son's Minecraft Xbox Controller and tried to connect it over Bluetooth to his Surface Go and it is working great. Thanks for the tip!
