Xbox Live avatar vanished!?

Has anyone else had this happen? I turned my phone off earlier today completely and turned it back on (Had to in-order to activate my voicemail). When I did, my avatar completely vanished. On the live title there's no an empty place holder white square in his image, and in the actual menu it's a giant grey block of nothing. Funny thing is, when I login to Extras, my 3D avatar is there and complete.

Is there anyways of fixing this? Rebooting the phone did nothing.

I'm having the same issue. Have you found a fix yet. Glad Light Speed thinks this is funny though.

you might need to do a HARD reaset. did u play with ru SD card?

no sd card on the surround....came back after a couple hours...strange

Sorry, should have replied ages ago.

If anyone else is having this problem, the easiest way to fix it is to go into the Avatar Extras menu and put a different shirt or hat on your avatar. It will force the service to update the avatar character and it'll come back just fine. You can always switch back to your previous clothing set after.
