Xbox music update, 8.1 or 8.1 update 1?

Today I downloaded the latest update for Xbox music which is apparently supposed to provide live tile and lock screen features but for me it did nothing. I have 8.1 cyan, not developers preview update 1. Does it have to be update 1 or can I keep rocking 8.1 cyan? Developers preview was not but problems for me. Thanks y'all.

Yes you have to update to 8.1.1 to get most of today's Xbox music update.

Please read the whole article next time. It was mentioned at the bottom that 8.1 Update 1 is required for the feature.

Yeah, I had to reread before posting to remember where it was heh, was just a sentence or two about it, sadly. No problem though, just more of a reason to get the Developer Preview.
