Hi

Is there any legitimate way to update games via a usb stick?
I have a slow connection at my house, but a fast one at work, is there anyway to download game updates for offline installation?

Cheers
John

The best you could do is take your console to work, unless there's one already there. The only way I could see external storage updates happening is if you copied it from a console that already has it.

I guess a high quality USB stick would be the same as a solid state drive. I believe Xbox can accept an external SSD, so yes

1. The minimum size for an external storage device with the Xbox One is 256 GB. Those appear to start at about $80.
2. You can't download game files to a computer. You need a destination console and drive to send them to.

Again, unless you're wanting to take your Xbox One to work with you, there's nothing to be done.
