So how is it that after 3 plus months there still isn't any Xbox video market? They integrated the Xbox music between the Xbox and windows phone 8, but not video? The lack of other video services besides netflix is also bothersome. Any ideas on why this is so?

YouTube is another video service that works.

But the lack of WatchESPN and MLB.tv and NCAA Marchmadness is depressing for me.

The Reason? Sadly...because WP is a stepchild in the MS Ecosystem currently.

I forgot all about those other services, it's almost like Microsoft doesn't get what sales phones.

It is a chicken or the egg question...people don't buy into the phone because it doesn't have WatchESPN, but WatchESPN won't come to the phone since there aren't the people. [I'm just going to use that example app as my version of all the "PINTEREST!!!" whiners, or instagram or whatever]

In the end, the real answer is as easy as "make a good mobile site and the app problem is semi-solved for everyone" OR "make MS throw endless amounts of money at other people to get them to buy into the ecosystem"...which is a tough pill to swallow.

Whatever Nokia gave to ESPN for their exclusive app needs to be turned into a WatchESPN venture.
