zooming in the 1520

How to you use the zoom features of the camera? I know how to use the zoom after taking the shot but how do you use the zoom feature before framing/taking the shot?

You can use pinch zoom. Put you thumb and finger on the screen and slide them out or in.

There are many photo apps in the store, not sure though if any of them allow for even closer zooming than Nokia Camera. But seriously, why would you want to zoom in more than the app can do? The impact on quality is way too high. Just use what you have and reframe afterwards.

Take the photo as normal, then edit the photo with Nokia Creative Studio. Use the reframe tool in there to perform your zoom on the original high-resolution photo.
