Zune on WP7 directly organizes a song with no album title as Unknown Artist! WHY??

I've noticed on my phone that even though I have a song clearly labeled with an artist, if there is no album title, it sorts it with Unknown Artists! Why? This makes no sense. I've uploaded these songs from my own collection, and tried to add album info through Zune on my computer, but it's hard to find the songs with no albums because they are all listed under their respective artists, while in Zune on my phone, they are listed under Unknown Artists! Are they going to fix this in a future update? Everything should be organized first through artists and secondly through albums.

When you add the artist to the songs are you editing the songs with the artist under album artist or song artist? As this does affect the way it is organized on your phone or Zune device.

all the songs are the same on my comp listed by "contributing artists", and this only happens with songs with no album name
