I can't send or recieve sms/mms on my lumia 650

I had my number ported from boost mobile to cricket and i'm able to make and receive calls and i can get on the internet but i can't send or receive sms/mms!!! i have called CS and was told that there was a problem with my SIM so i bought a new one and was able to send or and receive messages for 2 hours and it started all over again. is anyone else having this problem and if so how can i fix it??? TIA
