Since upgrading to windows 10 the DVD player keeps giving the message that it can't decode the DVD.

Since upgrading to windows 10 the DVD player keeps giving the message that it can't decode the DVD. The DVD drive attempts to access the disk but says there is no disc in the tray.

Have tried several DVDs and none work.

That's because Windows 10 doesn't support DVD playback. You'll either have to get the DVD PLAYER app from the store, use VLC Player or buy software such as CyberLink's PowerDVD.

Avoid the DVD player in the store. Get VLC as it works both with W10 and W8.1.
