There was a similar thread about WP8, let's share our new findings about the .1 here. 
- the action centre can be pulled down partially, only showing the settings shortcuts
- press and hold when composing a message now puts down the cursor and then you can move it by another swipe, no need to hold your finger down the whole time
- close apps by swiping them down in opened apps view
