I finally got the Denim update this morning on my AT&T Lumia 1020.

No "Hey Cortana".

That sucked.

But what sucked even more was the fact that this flagship phone, my Lumia 1020 with a bloody 41 megapixel camera didn't get the promised Lumia Camera update.

Really?

So I suppose I'll have to wait until the Windows 10 update to get those features. Maybe.

But I already had to wait 5 months past most everyone else to get the Denim update... How much longer will I need to wait for Windows Phone 10?

Microsoft stated long ago when they announced Denim that "Hey Cortana" was only coming to the 930, 1520, and phones with the necessary Snapdragon 800+ processor.

Additionally, they stated the new Lumina Camera was only available for Lumina 930, 1520, and 830 and newer devices.

Perhaps they'll roll some camera improvements into Win10, but Denim was not supposed to provide this for the 1020.

Correct, though, yes, there will be some aspect of the Lumia Camera 5 that will be in Windows 10 (fast boot up speed is the main advantage coming). So all is not lost, just have to wait a little longer.
