Hard reset L520

Hi,. i have lumia 520 yet to install black update, but phone memory is too low. Any suggestions??? And ya, was thinking what if i install black update and then hard reset my phone?? will the whole phone memory be free... ?? i mean the 'other' memory!!. i wanted to update and then reset so that i can selectively install apps and conserve phone memory!! Plz reply asap.

How much space do you have, maybe try and erase some stuff so you have like 800, 900mb free..

i have 950 mb free. but i want to have around 2 gb free space to install games.
