Lumia 630 sensor issues

Hi,

I have recently bought a nokia lumia 630. I realized it does not have a proximity sensor; instead nokia has introduced a sensor core that works on electrostatic principles. However, upon usage, I see that the display is not getting switched off even when I take the call and press/touch the phone to my ear lobes. If I press hard, sometimes the display switches off. Now, I put a flip cover to protect the phone. After putting the flip cover, the display does not get switched off at all. I think this is reducing the battery performance as well. I just wanted to know if others are facing same issues with lumia 630. Or is it that I have not done any settings properly?

Regards,
Krishnakumar

The Lumia 630 does not have any sensors which turn on or off the display. It uses technology that if you touch the screen during a call, the display turns off, no proximity sensors. :)
