battery saver lumia cyan update problem

Hello since upgrading to lumia cyan on my Nokia Lumia 520 my battery saver is not lowering brightness when the battery gets low I've checked in the settings and battery saver is enabled and the setting which lowers brightness is also enabled. I've also tried a soft reset but still its not working. I have also taken the battery out and still the same.

ok so after i noticed an issue with battery saver i now have more problems on my lumia 520 ie11 keeps on freezing and causing my phone to restart and it also keeps crashing and returning back to the start screen. I have also noticed that my battery is draining faster since the update ive checked battery saver and stopped apps running in background but still the same problem.
