Screen queries

Hi guys, i have a 620 that the screen cracked on whilst replacing the back cover, rendering the phone useless....
Having taken it back to *****4U i was told to not bother with their repair system as it would take a month at least before hearing anything and was pointed in the direction of a local company who on asking quoted me ?50 fitted and done same day.....

This tempts me as i liked my phone after the Black update which i used briefly.....but am scared as i have read many screen replacement posts that aren't good, so any advice or recommendations......any idea in Cardiff of a firm you've used etc?
