my lumia phone got bricked

while resetting my lumia phone my phone accidentally got removed from the pc. now my phone is not starting. it is just showing red screen with nokia written. what to do

Had same problem last week , download Nokia software updater for retail 4.1.0 follow instructions,fixed my Lumia 820 can find links on nokiapoweruser website

NSU got updated to Lumia S/w recovery tool. So at the starting of the app will it check for updates?

It's not the normal recovery tool ,that won't read the phone look for the retail version it's different

It said there is vital update to version 4.2.1 without which the application won't work and I downloaded it from nokia poweruser as you have said.

Update it to 4.2.1 then run it forgot that it had a update but will still work
