As the title says, it will not update. I haven't gotten anything since I got the phone in November. I am in the Insider Program. I have reset it, I have hard reset it, and still nothing....I am running version 10586.29 and it will not update. I've tried all rings in the program. I have also tried the Windows Device program on my PC and it says "Running Current Version"...any help would be appreciated...

I "kind of" have the same issue. I don't get insider updates unless I do a factor reset, don't restore from a backup and then download the insiders app without downloading any of my other apps. I swear it has something to do with AT&T, but I don't have any proof.

I've done it...it says my software is up to date...I'm at a total loss. I'm fairly displeased with my experience thus far with this phone. It's been a pretty terrible experience, I for the life of me can't believe MS would deliver such a sub-par experience.

Well I just used the WDRT and went back to the default version. I then didn't update any apps, and installed the Windows Insider app. On reboot and checking for updates it is picking 14267.1004 now.

OK, but did you GO through the restore process?even if it says up to date, you can still restore the phone, and try again after

I restored it, using the restore method on the phone...power off, volume down, up down, power down...(whichever it is) and did a full restore without backups...I will give your method a whirl when I get home from work tonight to see if that makes a difference.

So once your phone is set you immediately install the Insider app and enter which ring? Fast, Slow, Production? I was okay with it all on my AT&T 1520, my 950 software wise has been a huge hassle, love the phone itself though.

yes, do try.... When I 1st got my 950 (at launch) it ran better with a restore from WDRT than with what it shipped, despite being the same versions.

Sorry I am unable to add to the discussion, but could you tell me where you find, specifically, that you're running build 10586.29?

I am in the Insider Program as well (AT&T branded) and under System -> About -> More Info -> it lists "Version: 1511" and "OS Build: 10.0.14267.104". Is this where you're finding that build number?

Yes, you are exactly right.
