My Lumia 830 mobile not recognized by my Windows 7 PC. What can I do?

My Lumia 830 mobile not recognised by my Windows 7 PC.

I have downloaded latest window phone app for desktop. Earlier this app used to work but now it has stopped working. How do I connect my phone to PC to download all media?

you can simple open my computer and go to your phone. Open like you would open any external storage

Thanks, but computer does not recognize the phone. I tried it on another laptop and still it is not recognized. On device manager I encountered a code 10. In Device manager under Portable devices I saw a yellow exclamation mark for my device. In properties I up dated the driver and it said: "Windows has determined the Driver SW for your device is up to date". It did not work. I ran MS FIXIT and it said " Lumia 830 has a driver problem - Reinstall device Driver" I am still trying!
