Removing 'ghost' contacts

When I start entering a name or email address in Outlook I get suggestions. Problem is, it's pulling up email/names that aren't saved in my phone's contact list, gmail or Yahoo contacts either. Some of them are very frustrating, for example it's pulling an old address for my wife from her last company. Where are these coming from and how do I 'purge' them?

Maybe they r coming from online server, and they r somewhere in ur mailing history. Try deleting all the old emails, might be helpfull

I have this same issue in Windows 10 where I send an email and it saves it in the autocomplete and I can't find a way to get rid of it.

Jeffrey, try to go to outlook.com, and there find ur emails in the Drafts section, or the Sent section.
