Start Up Screen

Hello....so, I had to get a new 950 for my wife and after getting it set up, it won't open to the main start screen (the screen with the different sizes of icons). It opens to the alphabetical list of icons (like you would see when you swipe to the left from the main start page). I know this is an easy fix, but am about to pull my hair out trying to figure it out. Can anyone give me some direction on this? Thanks in advance.

Long tap on the app to pin to the start, and you have the start screen.

Thanks, I knew we could do it one at a time, but I thought it initially opened up to the start screen being set up with the basic apps already on the start page. But thanks for confirming.

Yes, it is weird that you did have that start screen after set up

Try a soft reset (hold volume down + power button together until the phone turns off).
