Why is my lockscreen lagging?

My lockscreen lagging.

Hi , i have lumia 525 !! updated to 8.1 ,after the update ,the lock screen is laging in showing up when i press lock button ,it shows "Resuming.." and the lock screen is displayed after 2-3 secs why is this happening ? dont tell me there is a need to reset the device , !!

Personally after every update I have reset my phone. I understand the panic due to the lack of backing up that WP offers in their apps but it's only games really.

Are you using any apps on your lockscreen? Have you tried uninstalling them to see if that fixes the issue?

You can also try a soft reset, which doesn't delete anything.
