Lumia 1020 turns off while charging. Recall?

I read other people had an issue with the 1020 shutting off during charges. Is there a way I can get a replacement? Will MSFT stores fix the issue?

That depends on the policy of either the store you bought it from or the accredited service center your intend to bring your phone to. Product replacement periods are much shorter than warranty periods for repair and service. If your phone is still covered, take it to the store or service center - no matter what they must find a way to fix that issue (presuming that you did not drop your phone or open the body assembly in any way).

Thanks for responding, likely out of warranty and all. Actually what's worse is that it freezes, not just turned off but completely dead - I have to do a soft reset almost every morning. Can't use the phone as an alarm clock even.
