Why won't my Surface Pro 3 turn on - Light Off/On after 6 secs?

Surface Pro 3 Wont Turn On - Light Off/On after 6 secs

Ok so my SP3 wont turn on. I've tried all the 2 button resets etc but no luck. Here's the interesting behaviour I've noticed, does anyone know what this means:

Press power button - after 6 secs light on charge cable will turn off for half second then back on.

Hold power button - same off/on behaviour happens every 6 secs.

Hold any 2 button combination - same as above.

I'm thinking surely this means something.. any thoughts greatly appreciated.

I am at a loss so will call MS tomorrow and arrange a replacement

Mine it's behaving exactly the same way you described. Did you managed to fix it?

The surface has return to life. I didn't do anything different. After half a day trying every key combinations I could find online and talking to surface support (which advised me for a replacement) the surface powered on with no apparent reason. I got all my data back but lost confidence on the device.
