Connecting Lumia 730 with win xp sp2 pc

I want to connect my Lumia 730 to PC trough data cable as a modem but I am unable to do that. When I connect it trough USB to my system it connects only in file transfer mode. My system has windows xp sp2 operating system, please tell me how can I use phone to connect internet through USB cable.

You need XP with service pack 3 so you have to update your XP.

But I do not think it can be done by usb cable. Your pc must have WiFi. And than you have to anable in your phone the internet sharing and connect your pc to the WiFi from your phone.

I believe you should be able to. My 920 offers the option to share internet via bluetooth or Wi-Fi.

however, continuing to use XP is going to continue being increasingly dangerous, especially one that doesn't appear to be up-to-date if you're still using Service Pack 2. Please upgrade, even to a secondhand-cheapo Windows Vista or 7 PC, for your sake.

730 also offers sharing internet through blue-tooth I have seen it in settings, so it means I can connect I will try it.
