Noticed anyone with a Windows Phone lately?

why this thread is still needed?

I suppose this thread was never needed, but is just a way to see how much (or little) WP is gaining steam...

I still only know two people with Windows Phones, and have only seen one other WP being used by someone 'in the wild'. Most of the phones I see on a day-to-day basis are iPhones. WP may be growing but it still has a long way to go, but this thread is encouraging that at least it is picking up some steam!

When I bought it, I was the first. One of the reasons for buying it was it was unique.
When ppl see Samsung, its like, eh another Samsung. Very common. Bt when they saw my phone, they asked me that could they see it.

Personally I don't know many, but in the wild, I've seen wp and surfaces everywhere

I have seen 0 WP owners up to this point but have seen a strong handful of Surface owners. The handful of Surface owners who also pulled out a phone it was not a WP. Go figure.

I have seen lately quite a few more 520s over here, around 5 last week. Of my inmediate family nobody has one but I might just have convinced my cousin to get one.

i am in India, and definitely WP is not so scarce here. at least 5 -10 % people are using it here. 520 was a real hit, but i can see many 720s n 920s.
at least 5 people (non-family) have bought 720 after suggested by me, and they are happy with it.

My friend have Lumia 520. I see a lot off Finns with 1020, 920 or 520
I have 925.

I live in Hawaii, a international tourism destination & I've only seen 2 in the wild. The city I live in has 3 cruise ships a week stop here, plus the ironman world champs, plus the regular tourists. We are out quite often & never see any. I am the only of my friends that have or even heard of Windows Phone. My daughter has a 822 & can't wait to ditch it for an iPhone.

I saw a few people buy the 1520 at the Ala Moana MS Store. While there I also saw a lady happily upgrade

to a WP. I've seen a woman at the mall with a yellow 1020. The minority for sure, but they're out there.

I'm from Zanzibar and not many people own Windows Phone. But I have lumia 1520 (b4 920), my wife 820 (b4 800), my youngest sister 525, my dad 520 and my brother in law 520.

My wife and I have Windows Phones. Our niece was the first. We just convinced both my in-laws to adopt a couple of Lumia 520s.

Just saw someone in the airport waiting lounge with a cool looking yellow 920... a very rare thing !!!
