920 using 8.1 to 1520 using win 10

[Windows Central Question]

Hi. My wife has a Lumia 920 on latest 8.1 and want to transfer all data, bookmarks, notes in her notes app etc to her new 1520 which is currently running the latest preview of Windows 10.

Any step by step instructions or should I just use the standard MS suggestion of back up to OneDrive, then bring it back down?
