925 screen completly froze

Hi all

The WPCentral Live tile informed me there are some news to read (hooray )
So I've opened the app and the screen completely froze I wasn't able to do anything it didn't react to any button pressing
completely nothing after about 5-10min the phone turned itself off.
I tried to turn it back on but only battery icon shown up just to say the phone needs charging so I've plugged it in.
The phone turned on itself straight away with no issue and the phone still had 20% battery left.....
Does anyone know what could've caused this problem ? I've had my Lumia for 4 months and this was the first time this happened.
If this happens again (I hope it doesn't) is there some way to hard reset the phone?

No idea what happened other than an off the wall glitch...but I can answer the last question.

In this case you do NOT want to hard reset the phone. That term means to set the phone back to factory settings. There is a way to do it but you don't want to, haha. That is Volume Down+Power+Camera.

What you want is just a Soft Reset, it is the equivalent to pulling the battery on the phone. That is Volume Down+Power.
