I tried:
- reboots
- checking with 4G
- checking on wifi
- soft reset
- never used inside stuff

I'm still on .107. Does anyone else experience this? What to do?

I had the same problem! In frustration, I gave up and used the device recovery tool to reload the OS. As soon as it was complete, .164 loaded up right away. I was on wifi and cell data at the time, so I'm not sure which was used when it loaded, but my GUESS is the phone will go Wi-Fi first before data.

Good luck!

Thanks for the reply's. So I guess I'm forced to do a full reset in order to get this latest update hm..? Maybe I'll wait for a while then.. The next update might show up properly.. On the other hand; I need these stability enhancenements..

If you read the thread I posted I ran into some unusual issues with the Recovery Tool failing on the first computer I tried it on. But even with that trouble, it took about 5 hours from start to finish to get my 950XL back to "normal". I even took screen shots of the start screen to make it easier to get back to how I like it. It was a bit of a pain but I have to say it was definitely worth the effort as my phone has been rock solid since the update.

I installed the Insider app and choose for Insider Release Preview and now I'm getting "Windows 10 Technical Preview for phones 10.0.10586.164"

So this is the same version number as the Public Release ofcourse, but this one is marked as Technical Preview.
What will happen now if the next Public Release is released? Do I always need to manually use this Insider stuff from now on or can I rely on automatic Production releases being installed automatically in the future?

Did you have to reset the phone first?

No I did not. The DRT essentially did that as it replaced the firmware/software. Did a clean install from that point as if the phone were shipped that way.
